The Mouser Custom Search Engine is a plug-in for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome that conveniently allows you to begin a Mouser.com search for part numbers and/or keywords from any website.
Simply type the desired part number or keyword into your browser's search box and you will automatically be taken to a Mouser.com search page with your results.

Using the Custom Search Engine
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Type the desired part number or keyword into the built-in search box near the top-right of the browser window. Before performing your search, ensure that the Mouser icon (
) is displayed.
If it is displayed, hit the Enter/Return key on your keyboard. If not, click the down arrow in the search box and select the Mouser icon. Then, hit the Enter/Return key on your keyboard.
Mozilla Firefox
Type the desired part number or keyword into the built-in search box near the top-right of the browser window. Before performing your search, ensure that the Mouser icon (

Google Chrome
To perform a Mouser search, start by typing "mouser.com" into the address bar (omnibar) and then hit the Space Bar on your keyboard. Now, type in the desired part number or keyword followed by the Enter key.
Installation Instructions
Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 7 and newer):
- Click the installation button
- In the "Add Search Provider" pop-up, click the Add button
- The pop-up will close when the search engine is successfully installed
Mozilla Firefox (Version 3.5 and newer):
- Click the installation button
- In the "Add Search Engine" pop-up, click the Add button.
- The pop-up will close when the search engine is successfully installed
Google Chrome (Version 5 and newer):
- Click the installation button
- In the "Edit Search Engine" pop-up, click the OK button
- The pop-up will close when the search engine is successfully installed
