SI (Standard Inserts) Press-In Inserts
SI (Standard Inserts) Press-In Inserts are designed to be installed by pressing the inserts into pre-molded or drilled holes. The installation is accomplished using a standard press at any time during production. These inserts eliminate the need for heat or ultrasonic equipment and molding inserts. The press-in inserts are available in aluminum, brass, steel, and stainless steel materials. Typical applications include electronics (wearable, smartphones, and hand-held devices), automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and industrial and recreational equipment.
HEXAGONAL NFPA™ & NFPC™ INSERTS
The Hexagonal NFPA™ and NFPC™ Inserts are strong, reusable threads that do not require heat or ultrasonics. The hexagonal barbed configuration ensures high torque-out and pullout values. These press-in inserts are available in aluminum and stainless steel materials. The hexagonal press-in inserts are ideal for lightweight designs.
THRU-THREADED PPA™ & PPB™ INSERTS
The Thru-Threaded PPA™ and PPB™ Inserts are strong and reusable threads that do not require heat or ultrasonics. The slotted insert compresses allow easy access into the mounting hole. The aluminum inserts are ideal for lightweight designs and offer a lead-free alternative.
FLANGE-HEAD PFLA™ & PFLB™ INSERTS
The Flange-Head PFLA™ and PFLB™ Inserts are strong and reusable threads with no heat or ultrasonics required. These flange-head inserts eliminate direct contact of plastic with mating parts. The slotted insert compresses allow easy access into the mounting hole. The aluminum flange-head inserts are ideal for lightweight designs and offer a lead-free alternative.
STRAIGHT KNURL PKA™ & PKB™ INSERTS
The Straight Knurl PKA™ and PKB™ Inserts are strong and reusable threads that do not require heat or ultrasonics. The straight knurls design is at the top end of the insert and offers higher torsional resistance. The slotted insert compresses allow easy access into the mounting hole. The straight-knurl aluminum inserts are ideal for lightweight designs and provide a lead-free alternative.
