Microchip Technology AC164416 PM3 Universal Socket Module
Microchip Technology AC164416 PM3 Universal Socket Module supports the programming of 80L Thin Quad Flat Package (TQFP) devices using the MPLAB PM3 Universal Device Programmer (DV007004). The MPLAB PM3 Universal Device Programmer enables designers to program the Microchip PIC® MCUs and dsPIC® DSCs quickly. The DV007004 features an LCD, integrated ICSP support, fast programming, 40 programmable socket pins, and an SD slot for secure data storage and transfer.
The optional PROMATE II to MPLAB PM3 Socket Module Adapter (AC164350) allows the use of current PROMATE II socket modules on the MPLAB PM3 programmer.
Using interchangeable socket modules such as the AC164416, the MPLAB PM3 Device Programmer can support the entire Microchip devices and package options. Each socket module can be configured to support many different devices.
Designers can use the programmer in PC host mode for full control, a safe mode for secure data, or a standalone mode for programming without a PC.
