The PIC24F Curiosity Development Board harnesses the power of 16-bit PIC24F Microcontrollers with external connections that offer unparalleled access to Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs). These CIPs integrate various system functions onto a single MCU. This simplifies the design for lower system power consumption and BOM cost.

The PIC24F Curiosity Board can turn an IoT design idea into reality. The board has several user interface options including switches, LEDs, and potentiometers. A full complement of accessory boards are available via the MikroElectronika mikroBUS™ interface. For security in IoT designs, the PIC24FJ128GA204 comes equipped with an integrated hardware Cryptographic engine for data encryption/decryption and authentication. In addition, BLUETOOTH® Low Energy communication can easily be added using Microchip's BM71 Module footprint.
