Texas Instruments TLV701 Low-Dropout Linear Voltage Regulator
Texas Instruments TLV701 Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Voltage Regulator is a low quiescent current device that offers a wide input voltage range and low-power operation in miniaturized packaging. Thus, the TLV701 is designed for battery-powered applications and as a power-management attachment to low-power microcontrollers. The TLV701 LDO supports a low dropout of typically 850mV at 100mA of load current. The low quiescent current (3.4µA typically) is stable over the entire range of output load current (0mA to 150mA). The TLV701 also features an internal soft-start to lower the inrush current. The built-in overcurrent limit protection helps protect the regulator in the event of a load short or fault.
The Texas Instruments TLV701 is available in a 2.90mm × 1.60mm SOT23-5 package, which is useful for cost-effective board manufacturing.
