STMicroelectronics EVLMG1-250WLLC Demonstration Board

STMicroelectronics EVLMG1-250WLLC Demonstration Board is a resonant LLC converter designed for any industrial application where minimum size and high efficiency is required, based on the MasterGaN1. The EVLMG1-250WLLC embeds two GaN power transistors and a driver in the same package, allowing it to interface directly to any SMPS controller. The GaN technology and embedded driver enable the converter to be designed with an operating frequency higher than conventional MOSFETs. The EVLMG1-250WLLC Demonstration Board has no heatsinks on the primary side and has significantly reduced dimensions, and has a power density of 20 W/inch^3. The high efficiency and small size make the board suitable when available space is limited.

The STM EVLMG1-250WLLC Demonstration Board consists of a motherboard with the transformer and the primary controller and two small daughterboards. On the primary side, one daughterboard embeds the MasterGaN1, the other on the secondary side has the SR controller SRK2001 and the MOSFETs.
