Omron SX4 Fiber Optic Mini ModulesThe SX4 Mini Modules (P1xX4C-SX4x-01MM) are transmitters and receivers that transmit four video or data channels over one multimode fiber, with each channel capable of transmitting up to 1.65Gbps (model = V) or 3.5Gbps (model = D). With a microcontroller preprogrammed for optimal optical transmission on board, the SX4 modules include fully integrated electrical-to-optical transmitters versatile enough to be designed into a variety of systems. Omron SX51 Fiber Optic Data ModulesThe SX51 Data Modules (P1xX6B-SX51x-02) are transmitters and receivers that transmit up to four 3.4Gbps data channels plus two side-band channels (one each direction), all on a single multimode fiber. They can transmit or receive over 6.6Gbps (model = V) or over 14Gbps (model = D) of data. With integrated drivers and amplifiers, these data modules eliminate the need for in-house optical design expertise. Omron has expanded their line of Fiber Optic Modules to include transmitters and receivers capable of transmitting HD or 4K (UHD) video, including HDCP/EDID/CEC. The new modules are capable of transmitting 14Gbps downstream and include a side band channel that can transmit data at speeds up to 1250Mbps bidirectionally, with transmission distances between 300m and 1km. The P1xX6-SX51-01M modules are optical modules that transmit or receive and convert optical HDMI signals on one strand of multimode fiber. They each incorporate a bi-directional optical subassembly (OSA) to receive or convert and transmit an HDMI video signal, along with the HDCP/EDID/CEC functionality, over distances of up to 1000m. The HDCP encoding remains intact and unmodified throughout the entire process. New! Omron has expanded the line of Fiber Optic Transmitters & Receivers to include the P1xX6B-SX51x-02E-DC UHD Fiber Optic Transmitters & Receivers. These data modules are capable of transmitting 4K video including HDCP/EDID/CEC, 10/100 Ethernet, and USB 1.1, all over a single multimode fiber, with transmission distances from 100m to 1km.
