NXP Semiconductors i.MX 8M Applications Processors
NXP i.MX 8M Applications Processors feature Arm® Cortex®-A53 and Cortex-M4 cores designed to meet smart device application-enriched user experience requirements. The i.MX 8M processors are part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. The i.MX 8M provides industry-leading multimedia processing with four 1.5GHz Arm Cortex-A53 and Cortex-M4 cores. The devices also feature flexible memory options and high-speed connectivity interfaces. These high-performance processors address requirements for streaming media and 3D graphics. The entire 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) is supported with pro audio fidelity with up to 20 audio channels and DSD512 audio. The NXP i.MX 8M processors' small size (0.65 mm pitch) allows for smaller, more compact form factors.
