NXP Semiconductors GoldBox for Vehicle Networking (S32G-VNP-GLDBOX)

NXP Semiconductors GoldBox for Vehicle Networking (S32G-VNP-GLDBOX) is a highly optimized and integrated reference design based on the S32G2 Vehicle Network Processor. With its high-performance computing capacity and rich input/output (I/O), the GoldBox can provide a reference for a variety of typical automotive applications, such as service-oriented gateways, vehicle central compute, domain controllers, safety processors, and black boxes. Vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, and software ecosystem partners can directly use the GoldBox to accelerate development for a shorter time-to-market.  

Featuring a rugged enclosure with integrated thermal management, the NXP Semiconductors GoldBox is ideal for development and proof-of-concept demonstrations. Multiple interfaces are available, including 18 CAN/CAN FD, 12 Ethernet ports, USB, and an SD card slot. Two M.2 slots enable the use of optional SSD storage or AI/Machine Learning acceleration modules.

S32 Design Studio

The S32 Design Studio is a complimentary Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for automotive and ultra-reliable Arm-based microcontrollers and processors that enable editing, compiling, and debugging of designs.

The S32DS for S32 Platform offers designers a straightforward development tool with no code-size limitations, based on open-source software including Eclipse IDE, GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), and GNU Debugger (GDB).

NXP software, along with the S32 Design Studio IDE, provides a comprehensive enablement environment that reduces development time.
