Nordic Semiconductor nRF52820 BLUETOOTH^® 5.3 System-on-Chip (SoC) is a single-chip wireless solution offering built-in USB and advanced wireless connectivity in a small package. The nRF52820 features an Arm^® Cortex^®-M4 processor, clocked at 64MHz. It has 256KB Flash, 32KB RAM, and a range of analog and digital interfaces such as an analog comparator, UART, SPI, TWI, QDEC, and full-speed USB 2.0. The nRF52820 can be supplied with a voltage from 1.7V to 5.5V, allowing the device to be powered by sources such as rechargeable batteries or USB. The 2.4GHz multiprotocol radio is fully featured and provides up to +8dBm output power.

The Nordic nRF52820 SoC is capable of supporting all Bluetooth 5.3 features, including Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, and Zigbee mesh protocols, as well as Direction Finding, high-throughput 2 Mbps, and Long Range features. For human interface device (HID) applications, the nRF52820 provides a USB and +8dBm TX power for a single-chip option. The wide temperature range of -40°C to +105°C makes it suitable for complex lighting applications.
