NewAE Technology ChipWhisperer® Embedded Security Analysis Tools
NewAE Technology ChipWhisperer® Embedded Security Analysis Tools include the CW310 Bergen Board FPGA target and the CW340 OpenTitan kit. The CW340 OpenTitan Kit includes the CW340 baseboard and the CW341 Kintex UltraScale KU095 FPGA. This FPGA is designed for implementing the entire OpenTitan design and is supported by the OpenTitan project. The CW310 Bergen Board is a Kintex K410T based FPGA target. The large FPGA can implement a version of the OpenTitan project, along with large SoCs and other designs.
The CW340 OpenTitan kit includes the NAE-CW340 main board, NAE-CW341 XCKU095-1FFVA1156C Kintex UltraScale FPGA target board, AC-DC power adapter, cables, and jumpers. The CW340 baseboard breaks out all OpenTitan signals, which can be routed to the quad-channel FTDI chip or a custom USB microcontroller (SAM3X). This USB microcontroller (SAM3X) provides high-speed FPGA configuration using the parallel SelectMAP interface and temperature monitoring of the FPGA. The CW340 OpenTitan Kit features an onboard USB hub that simplifies the development process, including using the board in remote access setups. This kit includes out-of-the-box support for rapid bitstream loading using the OpenTitan tools and supports debugging using the FTDI-based JTAG interface in OpenOCD.
The CW310 Bergen Board FPGA Target includes the NAE-CW310 Bergen Board, AC-DC power adapter, cables, and jumpers. This board includes the SRAM and DDR3 memory and a monitor microcontroller used for loading the FPGA. The FPGA target board offers various interfaces, including a USB host PHY, an Ethernet MAC, standard JTAG pinouts, and LEDs and DIP switches. This board features cross-flow fans that cool the FPGA without a heatsink interfering with EM measurement or fault injection work. The CW310 board monitors hardware temperature to ensure the FPGA is not damaged during extended tests without a heatsink.
