Microchip Technology MCP14A0901 & MCP14A0902 MOSFET Drivers
Microchip Technology MCP14A0901 and MCP14A0902 MOSFET Drivers can provide up to 9.0A of peak current while operating from a single 4.5V to 18V supply. The MCP14A090x MOSFET Drivers feature low shoot-through current, fast rise and fall times, and matched propagation delays, making them ideal for high switching frequency applications facilitating solutions with higher power density – a key market trend. The MCP14A0901 features an inverting output configuration, while the MCP14A0902 is a non-inverting MOSFET Driver.
The Microchip Technology MCP14A0901 and MCP14A0902 MOSFET Drivers offer enhanced control with Enable functionality. The active-high Enable pin can be driven low to drive the output of the MOSFET Driver Low, regardless of the status of the Input pin. An integrated pull-up resistor allows the Enable pin to remain floating for standard operation.
These MOSFET Drivers are highly latch-up resistant under any condition within their power and voltage ratings. They can accept up to 500mA of reverse current being forced back into their outputs without damage or logic upset. All terminals are fully protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to 2kV (HBM) and 200V (MM).
The MCP14A0901 and MCP14A0902 MOSFET Drivers are offered in space-saving MSOP-8, SOIC-8, and TDFN-8 packages.
