KYOCERA AVX NTC Thermistors
KYOCERA AVX NTC Thermistors are thermally sensitive resistors made from a mixture of Mn, Ni, Co, Cu, Fe oxides. Sintered ceramic bodies of various sizes can be obtained. The thermistors offer excellent batch-to-batch product characteristics due to strict conditions of mixing, pressing, sintering and metallization. High sensitivity and low cost make KYOCERA AVX NTC thermistors the most common device used for temperature measurement.Features
- Fast thermal response
- Ideal for commercial, industrial, and automotive applications
- Ni barrier/100% Sn termination
- Suitable for lead-free reflow or wave soldering
Applications
- Battery packs
- Heating systems
- Air-conditioning systems
- Refrigeration
- Temperature control of switch-mode power supplies
- Protection of power transistors in various electronic circuits
NC12-20 & NB12-20
NTC NC12-20 and NB12-20 Chip Thermistors are high-quality, low-cost devices developed for surface-mount applications. These thermistors are widely used for temperature compensation and can also achieve temperature control of printed circuits.
The NC12-20 series has silver palladium-platinum metallization that provides a high degree of resistance to dewetting of the terminations during soldering (typically 260°C / 30s). The NB12-20 series has a nickel barrier metallization that provides outstanding qualities of solderability and enables this chip to meet the requirements of even the most severe soldering processes.
NJ28 NTC
NJ28 NTC Accurate Thermistors offer high-precision resistance and an outstanding ability to reproduce the sensibility index B, making these thermistors ideal for temperature measurement applications. Leaded or unleaded, these small, rapid-response thermistors fulfill accurate requirement needs.
