
Infineon Technologies MA2304DNS/PNS MERUS™ Multilevel Switching Amps
Infineon Technologies MA2304DNS/PNS MERUS™ Multilevel Switching Audio Amplifiers are 2W × 37W audio amplifiers that offer the MERUS multilevel switching amplifier technology, which promotes unmatched power efficiency at both low and high output power. The device's multilevel switching reduces EMC requirements and provides inductor-less applications at a lower cost. The MA2304DNS/PNS features a high-order internal feedback loop that ensures low THD and high PSRR for superior audio performance.
The Infineon MA2304DN amplifier integrates a highly configurable DSP used to correct imperfections in real speaker applications with, e.g., equalization, limiting, and more.
The MA2304PN offers a more straightforward volume control and limiter for systems where an application/connectivity processor does the audio processing.
The excellent ultra-low idle power consumption makes the MA2304DNS/PNS ideal for battery-powered speaker applications with extended battery life and reduced battery cell cost. In mains-powered multi-channel applications, the reduced and scalable EMI performance enables otherwise impossible industrial designs without requiring a heatsink.
