Analog Devices Inc. HMC8400 Low-Noise Amplifiers

Analog Devices Inc. HMC8400 Low-Noise Amplifier series features gallium arsenide (GaAs), a pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), low-noise amplifiers (LNAs). The amplifiers operate from a 5V at 67mA supply voltage. The HMC8400 amplifiers provide 13.5dB gain, 14.5dBm output power at 1dB gain compression, and a low 2dB noise figure. These low-noise amplifiers have a frequency range between 2GHz and 30GHz. The HMC8400 amplifiers are self-biased, and only require a single positive supply to deliver a drain current IDD of 67mA. With inputs/outputs (I/Os) internally matched to 50Ω and dc blocked, the HMC8400 amplifiers facilitate integration into multi-chip modules (MCMs). Analog Devices HMC8400 Low-Noise Amplifiers are well-suited for instrumentation, military receivers, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure.
