Analog Devices Inc. HMC7992 Non-reflective Silicon SP4T Switches

Analog Devices HMC7992 Non-reflective, Silicon, Single-Pole, Four-Throw (SP4T) Switches are ideally suited for cellular infrastructure applications. These switches provide high isolation of 45dB and a low insertion loss of 0.6dB at 2GHz.

The HMC7992 switches provide high isolation of 45dB and a low insertion loss of 0.6dB at 2GHz. HMC7992 delivers excellent power handling up to 6GHz with input power of 1dB compression point (P1dB) of 35dBm at 5V. The switches exhibit good, low-frequency input power handling below 0.1GHz. The HMC7992 switches can operate as low as 10kHz with a typical 1dB compression of 21dBm, and an IIP3 of 37dBm at 1MHz. HMC7992's on-chip circuitry enables the switch to operate using a single, positive 3.3-5V supply voltage as well as a single, positive-control voltage from 0-1.8/3.3/5V.

HMC7992 integrated 2:4 decoder needs only two controlled input signals with a positive-control voltage range from 0-1.8/3.3/5V. The 2:4 decoder allows the designer to select one of the four radio frequency (RF) paths.
