Analog Devices Inc. LTC2357-18 Demo Board

Analog Devices Inc. LTC2357-18 Demo Board is designed to evaluate the LTC2357 18-bit SAR ADCs. These ADCs are low noise, high speed, and 18-bit Successive Approximation Register (SAR). For precise sampling rates or to demonstrate AC performance such as SNR, THD, SINAD, and SFDR, the LTC2357-18 demo board uses the DC890 data collection board. This demo board demonstrates the AC and DC performance of the ADCs in conjunction with the DC2026C data controller board. The LTC2357-18 demo board comes with DC590/DC2026 data collection boards to demonstrate DC linearity and DC performance, such as peak-to-peak noise.

The LTC2357 SAR ADCs accept a wide common mode range that enables the ADCs to connect directly to sensors without compromising measurement accuracy. The LTC2357-18 demo board consists of a 2X buffer and an internal 2.048V reference to simplify basic operation. This demo board uses an external reference to increase the SNR and input range of the ADC.
