4D Systems gen4-4DPi Series Displays
4D Systems gen4-4DPi Series Displays are the primary displays for the Raspberry Pi. These TFT screen displays are integrated with a 4-wire Resistive Touch Panel (T) or Capacitive Touch Panel (CT) with Cover Lens Bezel (CLB). This arrangement enables gen4-4DPi family displays to function with the Raspberry Pi without needing a mouse. The gen4-4DPi Series Displays do not require any external power supply and are directly powered by the Raspberry Pi board. These displays support Raspberry Pi A+, B+, Pi2, Pi3, Pi3 B+, Pi Zero, and Pi Zero W for many applications. The gen4-4DPi Series Displays communicate with Raspberry Pi using high-speed 48MHz SPI compression connection technology. These displays follow the Raspberry Pi HAT standard and are equipped with onboard EEPROM for board identification. The gen4-4DPi displays come in 4.3” (480x272 resolution), 5” (800x480), and 7” (800x480) size variants, offering frame rates of 20 FPS, 7 FPS, and 7 FPS, respectively.
