KEMET Corporation is a world leader in the manufacture of the solid tantalum capacitor, the fourth largest manufacturer of the multilayer ceramic capacitor, and a leader in the development of the solid aluminum capacitor.

As of April 19, 2017, KEMET Electronics Corporation has completed its acquisition of NEC-TOKIN Corporation and will now be known as KEMET.
