IR Receiver Modules

Vishay Semiconductors IR Receiver Modules allow designers to choose the receiver with the right combination of coding speed and noise suppression for various applications. No single automatic gain control (AGC) algorithm can completely suppress all noise and pass data signals.

TSSP40x IR Sensor Modules

Vishay TSSP40x IR Sensor Modules are compact infrared detectors designed for use in reflective sensor, light barrier, and fast proximity sensing applications. The series provides an active low output in response to infrared bursts at 940nm. The modules offer up to 2m presence and proximity sensing, and visible light is suppressed by an IR filter. The modules are insensitive to supply voltage ripple and noise. Vishay TSSP40x IR Sensor Modules feature a 2.5V to 5.5V supply voltage and shielding against EMI.

IR Sensors for Presence & Proximity

Vishay Semiconductors IR Sensors for Presence and Proximity consists of two basic types, the AGC 0 and AGC P (for proximity). The type AGC 0 has a fixed gain enabling reproducible object detection in variable ambient lighting conditions. These type AGC 0 sensors are suitable for both reflective and interruptive (such as a light curtain) sensor applications. The type AGC P contains an automatic gain circuit, optimized to provide differential range information. These type AGC P are useful for reflective sensor applications where information about an object’s movement from the sensor is required.
