Nano Series Power Solutions

ROHM Semiconductor Nano Series Power Solutions consist of power-supply ICs designed to convert ultra-high-speed and ultra-low current technology. Nano Pulse Control™ applications convert high voltages to low voltages using a single integrated circuit to achieve simpler, more compact systems. Applications include Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices such as IP phones and wireless access points in addition to industrial equipment such as high-torque 48V motor systems. Nano Pulse Control ultra-high-speed technology enables a simplified power supply configuration in automotive lithium ion 48V batteries, leading to a high step-down ratio (24:1) from a maximum voltage of 60V to 2.5V. This results in an ON time of 9ns, well below the 120ns of conventional products.

BD9V10xMUF Buck Converters

ROHM Semiconductor BD9V10xMUF Buck Converters are current mode synchronous buck converters integrating high voltage power MOSFETs. These buck converters feature a wide input range from 16V to 60V and a short minimum pulse width of 20ns. The BD9V10xMUF buck converters feature Nano Pulse Control™, which enables direct conversion from 60V to 3.3V at 2.1MHz. Typical applications include industrial equipment and consumer supplies.

BD9x Integrated MOSFET DC-DC Buck Converters

ROHM Semiconductor BD9x Integrated MOSFET DC-DC Buck Converters are synchronous buck switching regulators with built-in power MOSFETs. These ICs provide currents in a range from 1A to 6A. ROHM BD9x DC-DC Buck Converters deliver fast transient response by employing a constant on-time control system. This allows high oscillating frequency at low inductance. The devices employ an original constant on-time control method that provides low consumption at light load. This feature makes these devices ideal for equipment that demands minimal standby power consumption.
