TC Conductive Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitors

Panasonic TC Conductive Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitors are POSCAP™ capacitors offering stable capacitance at high frequencies and temperatures with a low ESR/ESL. The TC components are guaranteed for 1000 hours at +125°C and are available in B2, D2E, D3L, and D4 sizes. These capacitors utilize a sintered tantalum anode with a proprietary high-conductivity polymer cathode and demonstrate high reliability/high heat resistance, making them ideal for digital, high-frequency devices.

Polymer Capacitors

Panasonic Capacitors offer a wide range of technologies that can be used in the most demanding applications. OS-CON™ parts are characterized by a long life span and minimal changes in ESR throughout the entire rated temperature range. POSCAP (Tantalum Polymer) parts offer high reliability and high heat resistance, making them the ideal Chip Capacitor for digital, high-frequency devices, and more. The SP-Cap (Aluminum Polymer SMD) line from Panasonic is composed of multiple series that offer an extremely low ESR, a capacitance range up to 560µF, and a voltage range from 2V to 16V, achieving very good noise suppression and transient response. Unlike MLCCs, SP-Caps are not susceptible to temperature drift and DC/AC bias characteristics. The EEH-ZA/ZC/ZK series utilizes the benefits of both electrolytic and aluminum polymer capacitor technologies and combines them, creating a capacitor with low ESR, low leakage current, high ripple current, and smaller case sizes.

Panasonic POSCAP Tantalum Polymer Solid Capacitors achieve stable capacitance at high frequency and temperature and low ESR/ESL. Available in several series that include solid electrolyte chip capacitors (TDC, TLE, TPB, TPC, TPE, TPF, TPG, TPSF,  TPU, and TQC), the product line utilizes a sintered tantalum anode and a proprietary high conductivity polymer for a cathode. This construction and processing design yields low ESR levels and reliable performance in high-frequency applications. The capacitors offer a voltage range of 2VDC to 35VDC and a capacitance range of 3.9µF to 1500µF. Panasonic POSCAP Capacitors also feature high reliability, heat resistance, and volumetric capacitance efficiency. They are available in a variety of compact sizes, making them ideal for digital applications, high-frequency devices, and more.

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Panasonic Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors offer a vast range of voltage ratings and capacitance values. These capacitors are available in surface-mount (SMT) and leaded-radial mounting styles. Features include low ESR, high ripple current, long service life, and operating temperatures up to +125°C.
