Lantronix XPort® Embedded Ethernet Device Server is a compact, integrated solution to web enable virtually any device with serial capability. By incorporating XPort into a product design, manufacturers can quickly and easily offer network connectivity as a standard feature — so equipment can be accessed and controlled over the Internet. Lantronix XPort Embedded Ethernet Device Server removes the complexity of designing network connectivity into a product by incorporating all of the required hardware and software inside a single embedded Ethernet solution. XPort-05 replaces the previous version, the XPort-04. The only difference between the versions is a change in the the Ethernet MAC address range and an ID that indicates the part as an XPort-05. XPort-05 uses the 00-80-A3-XX-XX-XX range.
