These electrochemical, double-layer modules feature excellent pulse power handling characteristics thanks to the combination of high capacitance and low equivalent series resistance (ESR). KYOCERA AVX SCM SuperCapacitors can be used by themselves or in conjunction with primary or secondary batteries. Applications include energy harvesting, UPS / industrial, wireless alarms, remote metering, toys and games, and much more.
