Bourns 1.5SMBJ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are housed in an SMB (DO-214AA) package with a 1500W power rating. The Bourns 1.5SMBJ TVS Diodes are ideal for protecting power buses due to the diodes' surge withstanding capability. The series offers 12V to 85V standoff voltage and bidirectional and unidirectional versions. 1.5SMBJ meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Min. Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge standards and are ideal for power supply equipment, communications, and data center applications.

TVS Diodes

Bourns Surface-Mount TVS Diodes are low capacitance devices that provide ESD, EFT, and surge protection for external ports of electronic devices such as cell phones, handheld electronics, and other portable electronic devices. Bourns TVS Diodes include smaller chip diodes that have the capability to provide a silicon diode with minimal packaging overhead. The chip diodes 0603, 1005, 1408, and 2010 are leadless, allowing for maximum space on PCB layouts. All Bourns diodes are RoHS compliant and meet many worldwide industry and government regulations on lead-free components. TVS package diode design kits are also available from Bourns.
