Wolfson's WM7121P is a low-profile silicon analog microphone. It offers high Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and low power consumption and is suited to a wide variety of consumer applications. Wolfson Microelectronics AC'97 Audio and Touch Panel CODEC are highly integrated input/output devices for mobile computing and communications. The WM9712L device is equipped with phone input/output pins for seamless integration with wireless communication devices. The device contains up to four auxiliary ADC inputs for analog measurements such as temperature or light, and five GPIO pins for interfacing to buttons or other digital devices. Two uncommitted comparator inputs allow monitoring battery voltage in portable systems. The device can generate interrupts to indicate pen down, pen up, availability of touch panel data, low or dead battery, and GPIO conditions. All device functions are accessed and controlled through a single AC-Link interface that is compliant with AC`97 standard.
