Wima MKP5 Series Metallized Polypropylene Capacitors
Wima MKP5 Series Metallized Polypropylene (PP) Capacitors for DC-Link applications have a cylindrical plastic case for PCB mounting. The new MKP5 Series Metallized Polypropylene Capacitors from Wima offer very high volume/capacitance ratio with a capacitance range of 16µF to 260µF and voltage range of 500VDC to 1300VDC. Other MKP5 Series features include operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC, self-healing properties, very low dielectric absorption, and compliance to RoHS 2002/95/EC. These capacitors have a dry construction without an electrolyte or oil, and they do not require an internal fuse. Wima's MKP5 Series capacitors display a negative capacitance change versus temperature. Wind power systems and inverters are examples of applications that utilize MKP5 capacitors.
Wima MKP6 Series Metallized Polypropylene (PP) Capacitors
Wima MKP6 Series Metallized Polypropylene (PP) Capacitors for DC-Link applications have a cylindrical aluminum case for bus bar mounting. The MKP6 Series Metallized Polypropylene (PP) Capacitors from Wima offer a very high volume/capacitance ratio with capacitance range of 165µF-1560µF, voltage range of 600VDC to 1500VDC, and operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. Other MKP6 Series features include self-healing properties, very low dielectric absorption, and compliance to RoHS 2002/95/EC. WIMA FKP4 Self Healing Pulse Film/Foil Capacitors
WIMA FKP4 Self Healing Pulse Film/Foil Capacitors are polypropylene (PP) capacitors suitable for high current loads with a maximum of operating safety. Self-healing, by way of the metallized floating electrode, is combined with exceptionally safe bonding of the metal foil. The WIMA FKP4 Self Healing Pulse Film Capacitors are available with capacitances of 100pF to 1.5µF and rated voltages of 400-, 630-, 1000-, 1250-, 1600-, and 2000-VDC. The FKP4 is ideal for high pulse and high frequency applications such as switch mode power supplies, converter in drives and power electronics, deflection systems in monitors and televisions, and electronic ballasts.
