Welwyn / TT Electronics HVC Series High Voltage Thick Film Resistors offer continuous voltages up to 3kV and overload voltages up to 4kV. This high voltage chip resistor series features robust thick film construction and offers values up to 1G0. Welwyn HVC is the only HV chip resistor with a 50ppm/°C TCR and 0.5% tolerance. HVC2512 features 100% high voltage screening and AEC-Q200 approval.

Welwyn / TT Electronics WHS Series Wirewound High Surge Resistors offer the industry's highest surge energy ratings from 2W to 7W sizes. The WHS2, rated at 2W, is the smallest resistor of its type on the market and provides surge energy ratings of 0.9 to 5.8J. WHS Series Wirewound High Surge Resistors are available rated 3, 5 and 7W, in resistance values up to 330Ω and taking energy ratings up to 60J. Designers have greater flexibility with the additional options of radial, goalpost, lancet and SMD Z-form leads. All the WHS Series Wirewound High Surge Resistors benefit from UL94-V0 flameproof protection and operate over a wide -55º to +155ºC temperature range. The WH Series Aluminum Housed Wirewound Resistors from Welwyn have an all-welded construction and high-power dissipation up to 300W. Welwyn's WH Series wirewound resistors are suitable for severe environments and designed for excellent thermal conductivity to heatsinks. Welwyn's DSC Series Double-Sided Chip Resistors have two parallel resistance elements in a single chip. The Welwyn ULW Series UL Recognized Wirewound Resistors are fusable resistors with failsafe AC fusing at 120 / 240Vrms, inrush and surge withstanding. With a UL940V0 flameproof coating, the ULW Series offers power ratings of 2W, 3W, 4W, and 5W. The Welwyn ULW Series UL Recognized Wirewound Resistors are available SMD and are RoHS compliant.
Welwyn EMC Series Pulse Withstanding Resistors feature failsafe 240V AC fusing with good pulse handling capability. The flameproof (UL94-V0) metal film resistors are a small size for the 2W power rating. The Welwyn EMC Series Pulse Withstanding Resistors offer a resistance range of 4R7 - 68R Ohms and are UL1412 recognized.
