Vishay Semiconductor
IR Receiver Modules
|
|
Vishay
is the world's leading supplier of infrared receivers. The range of
IR receivers
allows designers to choose the receiver with the right combination of coding speed and noise suppression for various applications. No single
automatic gain control
(
AGC
) algorithm can completely suppress all noise and pass data signals.
Vishay Semiconductor
has developed numerous
AGC
response algorithms based on coding schemes and ambient noise conditions.

TSOP75D25 and TSOP35D25 IR Receivers for 3D TV
Features 25 kHz Carrier Frequency
The
Vishay Semiconductors TSOP75D25 and TSOP35D25
are
infrared receivers
developed specifically for the LCD shutter glasses used with
3D
-ready
TV
sets. The surface-mount
TSOP75D25
and
TSOP35D25 IR receivers
are designed to be assembled into active
3D
glasses, where they receive infrared signals from the
TV
set and ensure the glasses’ LCD shutters open and close in proper synchronization to create the 3D effect.
Vishay Semiconductors
TSOP75D25
and
TSOP35D25 IR receivers
are designed to operate on a carrier frequency of 25 kHz, which is lower than that used by standard remote control systems and eliminates possible interference from TV and set-top box remote controls. The
Vishay TSOP75D25
and
TSOP35D25
integrate a photodiode, amplifier, automatic gain control, band pass filter, demodulator, and control IC into a single, tiny component that enables more streamlined designs for
3D
glasses. These
IR receivers
receive modulated synchronization signals, meaning a single emitter can be used in the
TV
to achieve transmit distance of over 26 meters.
