Vishay Precision Group Z201 Series Z-Foil Resistor
Vishay Precision Group's Z201 Series Z-Foil Resistor is an improved version of earlier models of Bulk Metal® Foil Resistors. The Ultra High Precision Z201 Series Z-Foil Resistor from Vishay Precision Group has a TCR slope of 0.2 ppm/ºC (-55ºC to +125ºC, +25ºC ref.) and offers improved characteristics over the original S102C Series. The Z-Foil technology incorporated into Z201 Series Resistors provides a significant reduction of the resistive component's sensitivity to ambient temperature variations (TCR) and applied power changes (PCR). Features of Z201 Series Resistors include resistance tolerance to ±0.005%; rated power of 0.6W at 70ºC, 0.3 W at 125ºC; resistance range of 10Ω to 100kΩ; temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR): ±0.05 ppm/ºC typical (0ºC to +60ºC), ±0.2 ppm/ºC typical (-55ºC to +125ºC, +25ºC ref.); and power coefficient of resistance "ΔR due to self heating": ±5ppm at rated power.

Vishay Precision Group's VSMP Series Foil Wraparound SMD Chip Resistor, available in case sizes 0603, 0805, and 1206, is the industry's first device to provide high rated power, excellent load life stability, and extremely low TCR in one resistor. The VSMP Series Foil Wraparound SMD Chip Resistor from Vishay Precision Group uses ultra high precision Bulk Metal®Z-foil technology that provides a significant reduction of the resistive element's sensitivity to ambient temperature variations (TCR) and to self heating when power is applied (power coefficient). The Z-foil technology incorporated into the VSMP Series resistors also provides improved load life stability, low noise, and availability of tight tolerance. VSMP Series Z-foil resistors have a full wraparound termination which ensures safe handling during the manufacturing process and provides stability during multiple thermal cyclings. Features of VSMP Series Foil Wraparound SMD Chip Resistors include TCR of 0.05 ppm/ºC typical (0ºC to +60ºC), 0.2 ppm/ºC typical (-55ºC to +125ºC, +25ºC ref.); load life stability to ±0.005% at 70ºC, 2000 hours at rated power; resistance range: 100Ω to 5kΩ (case size 0603) and 10Ω to 125kΩ (case sizes 0805, 1206); tolerance to ±0.01%; power coefficient "ΔR due to self heating":5ppm at rated power; and power ratings to 750mW at +70ºC(case sizes 0805, 1206) and to 100mW at +70ºC (case size 0603).
