VCC RGB SMD LEDs
The VCC VAOL-S2223RGB, VAOL-S19337RGB, and VAOL-S1513RGB are RGB SMD LEDs featuring packages in 8mm tape on a 7" diameter reel. The SMD taping is much smaller than lead frame components, enabling smaller board size, higher packing density, and reduced storage space. These space-saving VCC RGB SMD LEDs are ideal for portable equipment, automotive, and other applications. The VAOS-5050RGB is a super-luminosity RGB SMD LED with a 120º viewing angle, low power consumption, and a white SMT package with built-in red, green, and blue chips. The VCC VAOS-SP4RGB4 RGB SMD LED comes in a white PLCC4 package with a colorless clear window, a 120° viewing angle, and low power consumption.
VCC Flexfire™ Flexible Light Pipes
VCC Flexfire™ flexible LED light pipes provide the simplest method of transmitting light from a PCB-mounted (through hole or surface mount) LED to a front panel. VCC Flexfire fiber-optic LED light pipes offer wide design capabilities for various lens styles, including wide angle, moisture-sealed, and high profile. VCC Flexfire flexible light pipes come in pre-cut lengths of 2", 4", 6", 8", and 12" with easy-to-use LED interfacing for 3mm through-hole and surface-mount LEDs. These flexible light pipes provide numerous advantages over traditional copper wire solutions, including immunity to EMI. The VCC Flexfire also does not conduct or transfer ESD pulses.
VCC SMD LEDs
VCC SMD LEDs come in a variety of package styles and emitting colors. VCC 1W high power SMD LEDs provide high energy efficiency, low voltage, and a long operating life. VCC SMD LEDs in PLCC2, 1206, 0805, 0603, and 0402 package styles are ideal for higher packing density and miniature applications. VCC SMD LEDs have water clear lenses, fit automatic placement equipment, and are also fit compatible with infrared and vapor phase reflow solder process.
VCC Relampable 5mm LED Indicator Socket Assembly
VCC's relampable CNX 440 series’ newly developed spiral thread further simplifies the assembly process by allowing the wired socket to mate with the panel-mounted lens from the reverse side of the panel. The attached terminals, sockets, and/or connectors provide simple plug-and-play installation, permitting insertion into the front panel opening. The optional NEMA 4 lens is tested for shock/vibration to 6Gs at 2000Hz, temp. range -40°C to +105°C, and a depth of 100 meters, as well as UV, solar, and ice encasement. A 10mm LED version (CNX 460) is also available.
