Texas Instruments TPS54560 60V, 5A Step Down DC-DC Converter features an integrated high side MOSFET and survives load dump pulses up to 65V per ISO 7637. Current mode control on this TI device provides simple external compensation and flexible component selection. A low ripple pulse skip mode reduces the no load supply current to 146µA. Shutdown supply current is reduced to 2µA when the enable pin is pulled low. TI TPS54560 features a wide switching frequency range that allows either efficiency or external component size to be optimized. Output current is limited cycle-by-cycle. Frequency foldback and thermal shutdown protects internal and external components during an overload condition. This step down regulator is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including industrial automation and motor control.
Texas Instruments UCC28063 Natural Interleaving™ Transition-Mode PFC Controller with Improved Audible Noise Immunity is optimized for consumer applications concerned with audible noise elimination. This TI solution extends the advantages of transition mode – high efficiency with low-cost components – to higher power ratings than previously possible. By utilizing a Natural Interleaving technique, both channels of the TI UCC28063 operate as masters synchronized to the same frequency. This approach delivers inherently strong matching and faster responses and ensures that each channel operates in transition mode. Expanded system level protections feature input brownout and dropout recovery, output over-voltage, open-loop, overload, soft-start, phase-fail detection, and thermal shutdown. The additional FailSafe over-voltage protection feature protects against shorts to an intermediate voltage that, if undetected, could lead to catastrophic device failure.
Texas Instruments LP5907 Ultra-Low Noise Low-Dropout Regulator is a linear regulator capable of supplying 250mA output current. Designed to meet the requirements of RF and analog circuits, LP5907 provides low noise, high PSRR, low quiescent current, and low line or load transient response figures. Using new innovative design techniques, TI LP5907 offers class-leading noise performance without a noise bypass capacitor and the ability for remote output capacitor placement. This LDO is designed to work with a 1-µF input and a 1-µF output ceramic capacitor (no bypass capacitor is required). This device is available between 1.2 V and 4.5 V in 25mV steps.
Texas Instruments TLV1171 low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator is a low input voltage version of 1117 voltage regulator. TI TLV1171 LDO is an extremely low-power device that consumes 500x lower quiescent current than the traditional 1117 voltage regulator, making it suitable for applications that mandate very low standby current. TLV1171 LDO is also stable with 0mA of load current. The device has no minimum load requirement, making it an ideal choice for applications in which the regulator is required to power very small loads during standby in addition to large currents on the order of 1A during normal operation. TLV1171 offers excellent line and load transient performance, resulting in very small magnitude output voltage undershoots and overshoots when the load current requirement changes from less than 1mA to more than 500mA.

Texas Instruments LM3463 Dynamic Headroom Controller is a six-channel linear LED driver with Dynamic Headroom Control (DHC) interface that is specialized for high power LED lighting applications. TI LM3463 delivers accurately regulated current to LEDs while maximizing the system efficiency. The variation of the output current of every output channel in the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C is well controlled to less than ±1%. The output current of every channel is accurately matched to each other with less than ±1% difference. By interfacing TI LM3463 Dynamic Headroom Controller to the output voltage feedback node of a switching power supply via the DHC interface, the system efficiency is optimized automatically. The dynamic headroom control circuit in the LM3463 minimizes power dissipation on the external MOSFETs by adjusting the output voltage of the primary switching power supply according to the changing forward voltage of the LEDs. The dimming control interface of the LM3463 accepts both analog and PWM dimming control signals.

Texas Instruments bq24392 charger detection device features an integrated isolation switch for use with a micro/mini USB port. This TI device is compliant with USB Battery Charging specification v1.2. bq24392 allows cell phones and tablets to be charged from different adapters including USB BCv1.2 compliant and non-standard USB chargers. These non-standard chargers include Apple, TomTom, and non-compliant USB chargers. TI bq24392 charger detection device conforms to the Dead Battery Provision (DBP) specified in BCv1.2. This includes a 32-min timer that cannot exceed 45 mins. TI bq24392 features a USB 2.0 switch that supports high speed. This charger detection device also has one input and three output pins. This results in a minimum software workload for the system to interact with the device.
Texas Instruments bq24270 / bq24271 highly integrated single cell Li-Ion battery charger and system power path management devices target space-limited, portable applications with high capacity batteries. The single cell charger has several input current limits that allow operation from either a USB port or higher power input supply for a versatile solution. The power path management feature allows TI bq24270 and bq24271 devices to power the system from a high efficiency DC to DC converter while simultaneously and independently charging the battery. The charger monitors the battery current at all times and reduces the charge current when the system load requires current above the input current limit. This allows for proper charge termination and timer operation.
Texas Instruments LM3447 PFC Flyback Controller for LED lighting is a versatile power factor correction (PFC) controller designed to meet the performance requirements of residential and commercial phase-cut dimmer compatible LED lamp drivers. TI LM3447 incorporates a phase decoder circuit and an adjustable hold current circuit to provide smooth, flicker free dimming operation. A proprietary primary side control technique based on input voltage feedforward is used to regulate the input power drawn by the LED driver and to achieve line regulation over a wide range of input voltage. Valley switching operation is implemented to minimize switching loss and reduce EMI. An internal thermal foldback circuit is provided to protects the LEDs from damage based on the temperature sensed by a single external NTC resistor. LM3447 PFC controller is ideal for implementing dimmable, isolated single stage LED lamp drivers where simplicity, low-component count and small solution size are of primary importance. TI LM3447-A19-120VEVM evaluation module helps designers evaluate the performance of LM3447 PFC Flyback Controller. This EVM is a primary-side power regulated PFC controller used for commercial and residential phase-cut dimmer compatible LED lamp drivers. It uses fixed frequency valley switching operation, resulting in discontinuous current operation.

Texas Instruments LM25117 Synchronous Buck Controller is intended for step-down regulator applications from a high voltage or widely varying input supply. The control method is based upon current mode control utilizing an emulated current ramp. TI LM25117 Synchronous Buck Controller drives external high-side and low-side NMOS power switches with adaptive dead-time control. A user-selectable diode emulation mode enables discontinuous mode operation for improved efficiency at light load conditions. Efficiency is further improved by a high voltage bias regulator that allows external bias supply. LM25117 provides a unique analog telemetry feature that offers average output current information. Additional features include thermal shutdown, frequency synchronization, hiccup mode current limit, and adjustable line under-voltage lockout.
Texas Instruments LP3985 Micropower, 150mA Low-Noise Ultra Low-Dropout CMOS Voltage Regulator is designed for portable and wireless applications with demanding performance and space requirements. LP3985's performance is optimized for battery powered systems to deliver ultra-low noise, extremely low dropout voltage and low quiescent current. LP3985 offers up to 150mA guaranteed output, a 2.5V to 6V input range, fast turn-on time less than 200μs, and consumes less than 1.5μA in disable mode. Performance is specified for temperature range of −40°C to +125°C with 2.5V, 2.6V,2.7V, 2.8V, 2.85V,
2.9V, 3.0V. 3.1V, 3.2V, 3.3V, 4.7V, 4.75V, 4.8V and 5.0V output voltages. LP3985 is stable with a small 1μF ±30% ceramic or high quality tantalum output capacitor. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout to further prolong the battery life. An optional external bypass capacitor reduces the output noise without slowing down the load transient response. An internal power-on circuit actively pre-charges the bypass capacitor to achieve a fast turn-on time. Power supply rejection is better than 50dB at low frequencies and starts to roll off at 1kHz. High power supply rejection is maintained down to low input voltage levels common to battery operated circuits. Available in a 5-bump thin micro SMD and a 5-pin SOT-23 package, the device requires the smallest possible PC board area with a total application circuit area that can be less than can be less than 2.0mm x 2.5mm, a fraction of a 1206 case size. LP3985 is ideal for mobile phone and similar battery powered wireless applications including CDMA cellular handsets, wideband CDMA cellular handsets, GSM cellular handsets, and portable information appliances.

Texas Instruments bq2026 1.5KB Serial EPROM with SDQ Interface contains a factory-programmed, unique 48-bit identification number, 8-bit family code, and a 64-bit status register. This one-time programmable EPROM provides storage of user-programmable configuration data. The TI bq2026 SDQ interface requires only a single connection and a ground return. The SDQ pin is also the sole power source for the bq2026. TI bq2026 EPROM is ideal for use in a variety of applications, such as battery pack configuration parameters, record maintenance, asset tracking, product-revision status, and access-code security.
Texas Instruments TPS65258 Power Management IC features three step-down buck converters and two USB switches. This TI power management IC also offers high-side and low-side MOSFETs that are integrated to provide fully synchronous conversion with higher efficiency. The step-down buck converters are designed to simplify an application while also giving the designer the option to optimize their usage according to the target application. TI TPS65258 power management IC can operate in 5, 9, 12, or 15V systems. The integrated USB switches provide up to 1A of current as required by downstream USB devices.
Texas Instruments LMR10510 / LMR10515 / LMR10520 Step-Down Voltage Regulators are monolithic, high frequency, PWM devices providing all the active functions for local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and accurate regulation in the smallest possible PCB area. The National Products from TI LMR10510 and LMR10515 drive 1A and 1.5A loads, respectively, with an internal 130mΩ PMOS switch while the LMR10520 drives 2A loads with an internal 150mΩ PMOS switch. The world-class control circuitry of these National Products from TI step-down voltage regulators allows on-times as low as 30ns for exceptionally high frequency conversion over the entire 3V to 5.5V input operating range down to the minimum output voltage of 0.6V. Switching frequency is internally set to 1.6 or 3.0MHz, allowing the use of extremely small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors.
Texas Instruments LM5064 Negative Voltage System Power Management and Protection IC with PMBus combines a high performance hot swap controller with a PMBus-compliant SMBus/I²C interface to accurately measure, protect, and control the electrical operating conditions of systems connected to a backplane power bus. TI LM5064 continuously supplies real-time power, voltage, current, temperature, and fault data to the system management host via the SMBus interface. The LM5064 Power Management and Protection IC control block includes a unique hot swap architecture that provides current and power limiting to protect sensitive circuitry during insertion of boards into a live system backplane, or any other "hot" power source. A fast acting circuit breaker prevents damage in the event of a short circuit on the output. TI LM5064 is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including base station power distribution systems, intelligent solid state circuit breakers, and more.
Texas Instruments UCC27210 / UCC27211 High Frequency High-Side and Low-Side Drivers are based on the popular UCC27200 and UCC27201 MOSFET drivers but offer several significant performance improvements. Peak output pull-up and pull-down current has been increased to 4A source and 4A sink, and pull-up and pull-down resistance have been reduced to 0.9Ω. These performance enhancements allow for driving large power MOSFETs with minimized switching losses during the transition through the MOSFET's Miller Plateau. The input structure can directly handle -10 VDC, increasing robustness and allowing direct interface to gate-drive transformers without using rectification diodes. The inputs are also independent of supply voltage and have a 20V maximum rating. TI UCC27210 and UCC27211 Drivers are designed for use in a variety of applications, including telecom, datacom, and merchant power supplies.
Texas Instruments LM3404MREVAL High Power PSOP-8 Evaluation Board demonstrates the enhanced thermal performance, fast dimming, and true constant LED current capabilities of LM3402 and LM3404 buck regulators. TI LM3404MREVAL Evaluation Board uses the LM3404 to provide a constant forward current of 750mA 10% to a string of up to five series-connected HBLEDs with a forward voltage of approximately 3.4V each from an input of 18V to 36V. TI LM3402 / LM3404 and LM3402HV / LM3404HV are buck regulator derived controlled current sources designed to drive a series string of high power HBLEDs at forward currents of up to 0.5A (LM3402 / LM3402HV) or 1.0A (LM3404 / LM3404HV).

TI LM3224MM-ADJEV Evaluation Board is set up for a 5V output from an input voltage from 2.7V to 4.2V or the equivalent range of Li-Ion battery. This TI evaluation board includes two jumpers to select the switching frequency and to select if the device is on or off. Texas Instruments TPS54519 Synchronous Step Down SWIFT Converter is a full featured 6V, 5A synchronous step down current mode converter with two integrated MOSFETs. The TI TPS54519 Synchronous Step Down SWIFT Converter enables small designs by integrating the MOSFETs, implementing current mode control to reduce external component count, reducing inductor size by enabling up to 2MHz switching frequency, and minimizing the IC footprint with a small 3mmx3mm thermally enhanced QFN package. The TI TPS54519 provides accurate regulation for a variety of loads with an accurate ±2% voltage reference over temperature. Efficiency is maximized through the integrated 30mΩ MOSFETs and 350µA typical supply current. This TI synchronous step down converter is ideal for use in low-voltage, high-density power systems. The TI DualCool MOSFET offers 80% higher power dissipation along with 50% more current in standard footprint. DualCool NexFET Power MOSFETs are optimized for control FET applications and Point-of-Load synchronous buck in networking, telecom, and computing systems.
The Texas Instruments N-Channel NexFET™ Power MOSFET series features low on resistance coupled with extremely low gate charge,
making it ideal for high efficiency/high frequency switching converter
and Synchronous FET applications. The TI NexFET Power MOSFET combines vertical current flow with a lateral power MOSFET for a level of performance not previously possible with existing silicon platforms. The TI NexFET minimizes losses in power conversion applications and allows designers to achieve 90-percent power supply efficiencies from light to full loads with high output currents and low duty cycles.
