TI AMC80 System Hardware Monitor

The Texas Instruments AMC80 system hardware monitor and control circuit includes a seven-channel, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), two programmable fan-speed monitors, and a two-wire interface. The TI AMC80 also includes programmable upper over-limit and lower under-limit alarms that activate when the programmed limits are exceeded. TI AMC80 system hardware monitor can interface with both linear and digital temperature sensors. The 2.5mV least significant bit (LSB) and 2.56V input range can accept inputs from a linear sensor such as the TMP20. The TI AMC80 has low supply current and can be configured using a two-wire interface, making it ideal for a wide range of applications: communications equipment, servers, industrial and medical equipment, storage area networks, and more.
