Terasic USB-Blaster™ Download Cable interfaces a USB port on a host computer to an Altera FPGA mounted on a printed circuit board. The cable sends configuration data from the PC to a standard 10-pin header connected to the FPGA. The user can employ the USB-Blaster cable to iteratively download configuration data to a system during prototyping or to program data into the system during production. The cable is 100% compatible with the Altera USB Blaster. It also offers better anti-noise capabilities and uses the same circuit as in the Terasic DE2 Board for Altera Cyclone® II.

Terasic DE3 Development System allows researchers and engineers to access the high density and high performance FPGA - the Altera Stratix® III. Starting with the Stratix III EP3SL150 (142K logic elements), the DE3 is the perfect platform for creating cutting edge designs in programmable logic. The DE3-150 board can be stacked up to create a programmable fabric that is un-equaled by any other board system. DE3 boards also include the DE3-340 (338K logic elements) and the DE3-260 (254.4K logic elements) that are optimized with extra on-chip multipliers needed for DSP research and development.
