TE Connectivity IMPACT™ High Density Backplane Connectors
TE Connectivity offers the IMPACT™ Connector System to meet the increased speed and density requirements of future system upgrades and next generation data networking and telecommunications equipment. The IMPACT Backplane Connectors feature unique broad-edge coupled design which utilizes low impedance and a localized ground return path in an optimized differential pair array. The differential pairs are tightly coupled at 80 pairs per linear inch, and are surrounded by ground structures to isolate the pairs. This innovative design enables the IMPACT High Density Backplane Connectors to achieve data rates up to 25 Gb/s, reduce crosstalk, and improve overall bandwidth performance with minimal performance variance. The IMPACT High Density Backplane Connectors offered by TE are ideally suited for high speed, backplane applications such as switches, servers/blade servers, storage, and routers.
TE Connectivity Cold Applied Splices
TE Connectivity's Cold Applied Splices are in-line, sealed, crimp splices designed for 150⁰C applications. Developed for high temperature applications in the aerospace and defense industry, the cold applied splices from TE are small, lightweight, and immersion resistant. The cold applied splices meet the requirements of SAE-AS81824/1 and feature a transparent fluoropolymer outer sleeve with a new high-performance, flame-retardant clear gel that provides environmental protection, strain relief, sealing to un-etched wire insulations, and an inspectable termination.

TE Connectivity has expanded its Economy Power product line to include the EP II series. EP II series doubles the voltage handling to 600V, provides additional current carrying capabilities up to 10 amps, and adds a Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) device.
The EP II connectors feature a lanceless contact design for reliable
contact seating and 12-position breakaway style contact retainers with a
TPA device. The TPA device prevents the contacts from becoming
dislodged when exposed to random vibration. With its increased power
handling and TPA, the EP II series from TE Connectivity is well-suited
applications with higher voltage and vibration resistance requirements.

1977 electrical specifications. Featuring a compact circular design that
easily fits through openings as small as 8mm in diameter, the Nector
S Line provides designers with the flexibility to create innovative
lighting fixtures because the size of the connector does not interfere
with the design. These expandable connectors support
plug-and-play functionality for ease of use. A power distributor
connector offers IDC crimp tap contacts for quick termination or crimp
style pin and socket terminals for cable assembly lead connections. TE

TE Connectivity introduced the Panel Mount Connectors to provide a panel mount option to the SOLARLOK product line and meet the design requirements of the
photovoltaic
industry. These connectors provide IP67 protection when mated. Designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, the TE Connectivity SOLARLOK Panel Mount Connectors offer current carrying capabilities up to 25 amps with a voltage of 1000 V DC and a typical contact resistance of ≤ 5 mΩ.
TE Connectivity Nanonics Dualobe Connectors
TE Connectivity Nanonics Miniature Dualobe Series consists of ultra-small connectors with center-to-center contact spacing of 025". As part of the TE Nanonics product family, miniature Dualobe connectors feature a "spring socket" contact system that provides rugged contact integrity for superior reliability and environmental performance. The "spring socket" contact system, constructed using BeCu alloy material plated with gold per MIL-G-45204 Type II over nickel per QQ-N-290, offers a gold-on-gold mating area covering a minimum of 180° of the contact surface, a mating force of no greater than 6 ounces per contact, and a low contact resistance of .003 ~ .008 ohms. Developed per MIL-DTL-83513 guidelines, with a few size-related modifications, the Nanonics Miniature Dualobe connectors provide highly reliable performance in a temperature range of -200°C to +200°C, making these connectors well-suited for applications operating in extreme environments such as space (probes, satellites, deep space exploration), military/aerospace, gas/oil exploration, robotics, and medical applications.
TE Connectivity Solderless LED Socket for Bridgelux RS LED
TE Connectivity offers the Solderless LED Socket, Type BR as a quick termination connector system for use with the Bridgelux RS LED. The Solderless LED Socket, Type BR eliminates the need to design, manufacture, and integrate a complex metal-clad printed circuit board assembly into the lighting fixture. The one-piece connector assembly features the TE poke-in wire termination to wire types ranging from 18 - 22 AWG. The Solderless LED Socket, Type BR simplifies termination to the Bridgelux RS LED with locating features that properly position the LED into the socket prior to mounting the full assembly onto the heat sink with the four screw attachment using M3 or #4 screws. Designed for easy integration, the socket accepts the commercially available LEDIL Britney Series Optics as well as provides sufficient space to allow for the use of other custom optical solutions. The Solderless LED Socket for Bridgelux RS LED offered by TE Connectivity is ideally suited for retail lighting, commercial down lights, and high bay lighting applications.
TE Connectivity CXP Pluggable I/O Connectors
The TE Connectivity CXP connector and cage assembly offers 12 channels of 10 Gbps data rates for 120 Gbps of total bandwidth in one-piece press-fit assembly which reduces PCB processing and cost. The TE CXP system complies with InfiniBand CXP 12x QDR and IEEE 100 Gbps Ethernet standards and enables pluggable copper or optical cable options. The Enhanced Footprint (EF) offers reduced cross-talk and improved electrical performance. Applications for TE's CXP system include controller cards and servers, network switches, routers, storage devices, Direct Attached Storage (DAS), Storage Attached Networks (SAN), and Network Attached Storage (NAS).

TE Connectivity offers a complete line of USB 3.0 Connectors. This product line meets the new USB 3.0 standard that allows 5.0 Gbps. The TE USB 3.0 Connectors are fully backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.0 connectors, enabling integration into newer designs and re-designs without having to update or change the mating connector. TE Connectivity Micro Poke-in Wire SSL Connector
TE Connectivity introduced the Micro Poke-In Wire SSL Connector as a low-profile, printed circuit board connector. Developed specifically for LED lighting applications,
the connector features a flat surface for vacuum pick and place,
rounded corners to minimize shadowing, a high-temperature resistant
thermoplastic housing to enable reflow processing. This one position
style connector has a rating of 250VAC/VDC 3A max., and accepts 24 and
26 AWG solid wire only and has a wire retention 6N and creepage distance
of 1.5mm. The Micro Poke-In Wire SSL Connector comes in the small size of 8.2mm (L) x 3.3mm (W) x 2.475mm (H),which is less than 1/3 the height and length of TE's standard SMT poke-in connectors and is well suited for a cost effective alternative to hand soldering wires to smaller PCB's
and light modules. Qualified through salt spray tests for durability
and tested to a product lifetime of 40,000 hours, the RoHS compliant TE Connectivity Micro Poke-In Wire SSL Connector is ideally suited for LED channel letter lighting strips, general illumination LED fixtures, architectural cove and valence lighting, digital signage, LED Module, COB application, and various non-lighting applications that require attaching flying leads to printed circuit boards.
TE Connectivity Solderless LED Sockets for Cree XLamp® MP-L™ LEDs
TE Connectivity designed the Type CM Solderless LED Sockets as an integrated electrical and optical solution for the
Cree XLamp® MP-L™ LEDs. TE's Solderless LED Sockets for Cree XLamp® MP-L™ LEDs enable power to be provided to the LED using either a LED-to-board or LED-to-wireLED-to-wire solution features TE's AMP Mini CT connector which plugs into the socket. For conventional PCB mount applications, the board-to-board solution provides an electrical connection between the electrical pads on the LED substrate and pads on the printed circuit (PC) board. To give the designer innovative integration possibilities, the LED-to-inverted wire solution supplies power to the LED from underneath the PC board by wiring the AMP Mini CT connector which plugs into the socket.
TE Connectivity High Current Relay HCR 200
TE Connectivity's HCR 200 High Current Relay is the first automotive relay in its class for start/stop applications. With start/stop function, the vehicle's starter system is separate from the power system and temporarily supported by a second battery. While permitting electronics systems to continue to perform during start/stop, the HCR 200 Relay allows for disconnect in an emergency. Other applications for the HR 200 High Current Relay from TE Connectivity include battery coupling and energy management.
TE Connectivity Agastat Time Delay Relays
The Agastat 7000 Series Time Delay Relays from TE Connectivity are designed for a broad range of commercial and industrial applications. They are available in on-delay, true off-delay, and on/off-delay. Timing is in linear increments from 0.1 seconds to 60 minutes. Standard voltages range from 6-550VAC and 12-550VDC. TE Connectivity's 7000 Series Time Delay Relays are available in 2-pole or 4-pole models and feature numerous enclosure, mounting, and other design options.
TE Connectivity Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors
TE Connectivity offers the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors as a modular backplane connector
system that combines commercial high-speed technologies with proven
MIL-SPEC contacts into a user configurable platform. Developed to
withstand the demanding shock and vibration requirements of military and
aerospace applications, the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors
feature a rugged design for extreme mechanical and electrical
performance in harsh environments. Featuring proven Mini-Box
contacts, which provide four points of contact on all sides of the pin,
and a higher pin count to allow data rates of 10 Gbs+, the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors support higher bandwidth requirements in real-time intelligence systems. The TE Connectivity Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors are
ideally suited for commercial aerospace, ground defense, unmanned
aerial vehicles (UAV), fighter jets, and other severe environmental
applications such as space exploration.
TE Connectivity CHAMP 0.6mm CL High Speed Docking Connectors
TE Connectivity designed the CHAMP 0.6mm CL High Speed Docking Connectors for
high density, low profile shield applications with two rows of contact
on 0.6mm centerlines. Features include contacts on the 0.6mm centerline
to save 30% linear board space and a 3.8mm low profile housing resulting
in a 25% smaller connector height compared to existing 0.8mm centerline docking connectors. In high frequency signals, these connectors provide higher reliability and performance than existing 0.5mm pitch docking connectors. Fully compliant with industry transmission standards including USB 3.0, DisplayPort, and HDMI for high definition differential signaling protocols, TE Connectivity CHAMP 0.6mm CL High Speed Docking Connectors
are well-suited for applications such as tablet PCs, laptop PCs,
smartphones, MID (Mobile Internet Devices), and handheld devices.
TE Connectivity 2410SFV Fuses
TE Connectivity's 2410SFV product line consists of surface-mount, wire-in-air (WIA) fuses that provide secondary-side circuit protection,
preserve board space, and minimize design costs for a broad array of
high-voltage, high-current designs. The design structure minimizes the
risk of the end cap of the device becoming dislodged and speeds assembly
time. Available in an ultra-thin (6.1x2.5mm) SMD package, the TE Connectivity 2410SFV Fuses
offer current ratings from 0.5A to 20.0A, high interrupt current from
50A to 300A, high I2T characteristics, and high inrush current withstand
capability that minimizes nuisance tripping during transient overload
conditions. Rated for operation at temperatures ranging from -55ºC up to
125ºC, the fuses have a nominal cold resistance (DCR) from 0.0034Ω to 0.231Ω. Typical applications include home appliances (LCD TV LED backlighting, LCD TV CCFL backlighting) and LED lighting, as well as office automation, industrial and medical equipment.
TE Connectivity Plastic Backshells for D-Subminiature Connectors
TE Connectivity introduced a new range of compact, lightweight Plastic Backshells designed for 9 to 37 position standard density D-Subminiature connectors. Featuring a hinged design and complete with jackscrews, the TE Connectivity Plastic Backshells for D-Subminiature Connectors are quick and easy to assemble. Available for cable sizes 3.0mm to 11.0mm, the TE Connectivity Plastic Backshells offer an ideal solution for D-Subminiature Connectors used in unshielded applications.
TE Connectivity Metal Hybrid PPTC Devices
TE Connectivity developed the Metal Hybrid PPTC (MHP) Device
as a cost-effective, resettable circuit protection devices capable of
providing 30A+ hold currents at voltage ratings over 30VDC for
high-rate-discharge lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries. By connecting a bimetal protector parallel with a PPTC (polymeric positive temperature coefficient) device, the resulting Metal Hybrid PPTC Device offers resettable overcurrent protection while the low resistance of the PPTC device prevents arching of the bimetal protector at higher currents. The TE Connectivity Metal Hybrid PPTC Device is ideally suited for applications such as cordless battery tools, E-bikes, back-up power supplies (UPS), and back-up power for medical devices.
TE Connectivity Reflowable Thermal Protection (RTP)
TE Connectivity Reflowable Thermal Protection (RTP) features low resistance, robust surface mountable thermal protection devices
with a set open temperature. The RTP devices are designed to withstand
the demanding requirements of the automotive and industrial
applications, including shock, vibration, temperature cycling, and
humidity exposure. RTP devices can withstand temperatures up to 260⁰C during solder reflow without
opening prior to the arming procedure. The newly patented, one-time
electronic arming procedure allows the open temperature to be selected so that the
device opens in thermal runaway event before reaching the melt temperature of
typical lead free solders, but
remains closed when the components are operating within the normal
parameters. After arming, the RTP opens if its internal junction exceeds the device's specified temperature to protect downstream devices from thermal overload. Constructed to meet stringent automotive and industry qualifications including AEC-Q101, AEC-Q200, and AEC-Q100, the RTP devices are ideally suited for applications such as automotive HVAC, ABS, power steering, DC/DC converters, PTC heaters, IT servers, telecom power, and converters. RoHS compliant and lead & halogen free.

These devices feature an operating temperature range of 40ºC to +105ºC.

TE Connectivity / Corcom HZ Power Line Filters
The Corcom HZ Series from TE Connectivity is a high performance power line filter designed for medical applications. It features low leakage current and ratings up to 30A. The Corcom HZ Series is available with .250 spade terminals or threaded bolt.
TE Connectivity / Corcom SR Series Power Inlet Connectors
The TE Connectivity / Corcom SR Series Power Inlet Connectors from TE Connectivity include 15A and 20A current ratings. These male and female power line connectors are available in snap-in and flange mount versions. The TE Connectivity Corcom SR Series are supplied with either spade terminals or PC board pins.
TE Connectivity CoolSplice Connector
TE Connectivity CoolSplice Connectors are unique wire-to-wire
splice connectors that can also serve as a replacement for standard
terminal block. CoolSplice connectors join a pair of discrete wires, or a
twin cord cable in line to a pair of discrete wires or twin cord
cables. These connectors eliminate the need to pre-strip the insulation
and are easily installed with standard pliers. Featuring
visual-controlled termination and push connect buttons, CoolSplice
connectors offer a more ergonomic wire termination than conventional
twist-on-wire connectors/nuts (marrettes). Constructed using UL listed
materials and designed to fit through a 16mm (5/8") hole, the Kema
approved TE CoolSplice Connectors are ideally suited for standard SSL
lighting cables in industrial applications, security/alarm, home
automation, audio, lighting fixtures, commercial refrigerators,
refrigerated display cabinets, furniture, and outdoor lighting.
