TDK ACT Series Common Mode Filters and Chokes are designed to withstand high temperatures. These common mode filters are compatible with an operating temperature range of -40 to +150°C (ACT45B) or -55 to +150°C (ACT1210), so they can be used for vehicle devices requiring compatibility with high temperatures. ACT1210 is a compact version with equivalent characteristics to the ACT45B. ACT45B applications include CAN-BUS, modems, ISDNs, and more. ACT1210 applications also include CAN-BUS as well as FlexRay systems.

TDK TCE Common Mode Filters in two case sizes (1608 & 1210)
feature improved electromagnetic compatibility with an electrostatic
discharge protection element using thin-film processing and material
technology. The new TDK TCE series is the world's first thin-film common
mode filter to offer both high-speed common-mode noise suppression and
ESD protection in a single component. It thus reduces the number of
components needed, shrinks the mounting area and functionally enhances
mobile devices. By providing wide bandwidth (cutoff frequency: 3GHz
min.) for differential mode, TCE Common Mode Filters from TDK have
almost no effect for high speed differential signals and can suppress
the radiated emission. Applications include noise suppression of smart
phones, digital cameras, and portable music players.

TDK's Conductive Epoxy C Series consists of MLCCs that are
conductive glue-mounted rather than solder-mounted. The C Series
Conductive Epoxy MLCCs from TDK are critical in high temperature
environments that require high reliability, such as automotive
applications. These AEC-Q200 automotive-rated conductive glue-mounted
devices allow for more flexibility during periods of expansion and
contraction because thermal expansion differences between the substrate,
MLCC, and solder fillet have been reduced by using a non-solder
attachment. TDK's Conductive Epoxy MLCCs are also used in applications
that cannot be subjected to the heat of the solder paste mounting
process, such as LCD panels, organic EL and LED displays, and CCD
devices, which are especially sensitive to high temperatures.

TDK CGA Series Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs)
are AEC-Q200 rated. The CGA Series MLCCs from TDK are manufactured
using a tested and stable manufacturing process and subjected to
increased inspections that guarantee a higher level of reliability.
These capacitors are available in general voltages up to 50V,
mid-voltage up to 630V, and up to 150ºC operating temperature. In
addition, thinner ceramic dielectric layers and multilayer technology
give these capacitors a large capacitance. The CGA Series is used in a
variety of applications, including automotive powertrain systems and
safety equipment, smart meters, power supplies, sensor modules, and
higher reliability/safety applications.

TDK's C Series High Capacitance MLCCs feature precision
technologies that enable the use of multiple thinner ceramic dielectric
layers. Composed of only ceramics and metals, TDK's C Series Capacitors
provide extremely dependable performance, exhibiting virtually no
degradation even when subjected to temperature extremes. The monolithic
structure ensures superior mechanical strength and reliability. The TDK C
Series High Capacitance MLCCs are available in a range of capacitance
values (1.5µF to 100µF), in temperature coefficients of X5R, X6S, X7R,
X7S, X7T, X8R, and Y5V, and in numerous case sizes.
TDK wireless charging coils for smart phones and other mobile devices employ a proprietary flexible thin metal magnetic sheet, achieving an industry-leading thickness of only 0.57mm. These TDK wireless power transfer coil units are ultra-thin, lightweight and highly resistant to shock. The design of the coils minimizes the tendency toward rising resistance and achieves a power transfer efficiency that meets the requirements of the WPC Qi standard. These TDK devices also have a low height and an output current of 0.5 to 0.6A.
TDK now provides a simulation program for various electronic components. TDK provides a multi-purpose simulation model for S-parameters and equivalent circuit models, Netlists, and simulation models for commercially available simulators. TDK also has software for analyzing component characteristics called SEAT, which can analyze TDK component characteristics without needing commercially available simulators.
