Vishay Sprague TP8 Automotive-Grade MICROTAN® Tantalum Capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified, high CV leadframeless molded capacitors available in a variety of small case sizes, including a 0603 footprint. The TP8 series automotive-grade MICROTAN tantalum caps from Vishay offer volumetrically efficient packaging options and a rectangular molded case conducive to a high-volume PCB assembly. Other features include capacitance up to 100µF, voltage range up to 40Vdc, and operating temperature range up to 125ºC.
Vishay Sprague TM3 devices are optimized for input capacitor filters on DC / DC converters, hot plugging surges on battery chargers, low-drop-out devices, and capacitor charge pumps. Typical end products include glucose meters, infusion pumps, nebulizers, and thermometers. TM3 devices are designed to provide improved performance and reliability in a wide variety of non-life-support medical monitoring and diagnostic instruments for in-home and hospital use. Vishay Sprague new TL8 Series MicroTan® Capacitor is the highest capacitance-voltage product in the industry. These solid tantalum chip capacitors from Vishay offer a high CV leadframeless molded low profile, measuring only 0.8mm to 1mm in a variety of case sizes. The lead (Pb)-free L-shaped termination of the TL8 Series MicroTan® Capacitor from Vishay gives it superior board mounting capability as well.
Vishay/Sprague's MicroTAN® 298W Series Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitor is
the highest capacitance-voltage product in the industry. The surface mount MicroTAN®
298W Series Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitor from Vishay/Sprague has high CV and is available in small sizes, including 0603 and 0402
footprints with low profile (down to 0.6mm height). In addition, the
298W Series is leadframeless molded with a capacitance range from 10µF
to 100µF. Other features of 298W Series capacitors include voltage range from 4Vdc to 10Vdc, operating temperature range from -55ºC
to +85ºC (to +125ºC voltage derating), and ±20% capacitance tolerance
Vishay / Sprague TL3 Series Tantalum Chip Capacitors feature a
molded case available in five case sizes. TL3 Series Tantalum Chip
Capacitors are 100% surge current tested with improved reliability and
very low DCL. TL3 Series Tantalum Chip Capacitors offer low ESR options
and a moisture sensitivity level 1.
Vishay/Sprague's TH4 Series Solid Tantalum Capacitors have an operating temperature up to 175ºC with 50% voltage derating. In addition, the TANTAMOUNT®, Molded Case TH4 Capacitors from Vishay/Sprague are highly reliable automotive-grade (AEC-Q200 qualified) capacitors that are 100% surge current tested.
The T96/T97 Series Conformal Coated Capacitors are low-ESR, Hi-Rel COTS TANTAMOUNT® Capacitors that offer high reliability. Both the T96 and T97 Series TANTAMOUNT® Capacitors from Vishay/Sprague are surface mountable, offer surge current testing per MIL-PRF-55365 options, have operating temperature range of -55ºC to +85ºC (to +125ºC with voltage derating), and are compliant to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. The T96 Series has capacitance range of 10µF to 680µF. The T97 Series has capacitance range of 10µF to 1500µF.
Vishay/Sprague's T95 Series Solid Tantalum, TANTAMOUNT® Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Capacitors are high reliability capacitors that offer a capacitance range of 0.15µF to 680µF. The T95 Series Capacitors from Vishay/Sprague also feature conformal coated case, standard and low ESR options, SnPb standard terminations, and compliance to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC. Weibull grading and surge current testing per MIL-PRF-55365 options are available.
Vishay Sprague's T83 Series TANTAMOUNT® Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Capacitors are high-reliability, molded case capacitors with capacitance range of 0.1µF to 470µF. The T83 Series COTS capacitors from Vishay Sprague are surface mountable and offer standard and low ESR options. Other features of T83 series capacitors are 100% matte tin and tin/lead terminations, Weibull grading and surge current test options, and compliance to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.

Vishay / Sprague offers the Solid Tantalum Surface Mount Capacitors TH Series. The TH3 series features an operating temperature up to 150ºC with 50% voltage derating and high reliability, and are 100% surge current tested. RoHS compliant terminations are available, along with standard case sizes. The TH4 series features an operating temperature up to 175ºC with 50% voltage derating and high reliability, and are 100% surge current tested. RoHS compliant terminations are available, along with standard EIA 535BAAC case sizes. The TH5 series features an application voltage of 21V at the operating temperature of 200ºC, 500 hours of continuous operation at VR, gold plated terminations, and are 100% surge current tested. The Vishay / Sprague Solid Tantalum Surface Mount Capacitors TH Series can be used in automotive, industrial, and oil/petroleum applications.

Vishay Sprague announces the addition of the new W case for the Vishay TR3 W Case TANTAMOUNT Chip Capacitors, Vishay Sprague's popular low-ESR TR3 high-capacitance, high-voltage molded tantalum chip capacitor.
Measuring 7.3 mm by 6.0 mm, with a height of 3.45 mm, the new case size
allows for capacitance and voltage range expansion beyond the existing A
through E case sizes. By utilizing the Vishay TR3 W case TANTAMOUNT Chip Capacitors, designers can reduce the component count in
applications where they previously used multiple components in parallel to
achieve large bulk capacitance for energy storage.

Vishay / Sprague offers a low ESR, solid tantalum TR3 Series TANTAMOUNT® Chip Capacitor with a molded case available in six case codes. The TANTAMOUNT Chip Capacitors
feature 100% Matte Tin (standard Tin/Lead available), high ripple
current carrying capability, and compliant terminations. The TR3 series TANTAMOUNT Chip Capacitors are
compatible with "high volume" automatic pick and place equipment, meet
EIA 535BAAE and IEC Specification QC300801/US0001, and are 100% surge
current tested (B, C, D, and E case sizes).
The 893D Series Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitors from Vishay/Sprague are Tantamount®, molded-case, built-in-fuse miniature capacitors that offer 100% matte tin standard termination with tin/lead available. Vishay/Sprague's 893D Series capacitors are compatible with "high volume" automatic pick and place, offer fuse activation at 25ºC:0.1 s max. with 5 A min. applied current, have an electrically activated internal fuse, and are 100% surge current tested (D and E case codes). Electrical characteristics of the 893D Series are operating temperature range of -55ºC to +125ºC, capacitance range of 0.47µF tp 470µF, voltage rating of 4 VDC to 50 VDC, and capacitance tolerance of ±10% and ±20%. The molded package is available in three case codes.
