Spectrum Control is a leading supplier of control products and systems used to condition, regulate, and govern electronic performance. Using their core electromagnetic interference ("EMI") filtering expertise, Spectrum Control offers customers a broad line of signal, power, and frequency control products.
Spectrum Control products and systems are utilized worldwide in many different industries. In telecommunications, their products are used in numerous systems including wireless base stations, broadband switching equipment, global positioning systems, and optical networks. Automotive represents an emerging market for Spectrum products, with significant applications in DC motors, telematics, and electronic safety controls.
Spectrum Control's new Patch Antennas are affordable while offering flexibility and versatility with a small footprint and low profile. Spectrum Control's Patch Antennas have omni-directional radiation patterns, providing excellent gain across all elevation angles. The lightweight Spectrum Patch Antennas can be worn on people with little notice. They transmit and receive both circularly polarized and linearly polarized signals and can be turned and optimized very easily making prototyping quick and cost effective. These antennas have a typical gain response from 0dBi to 3dBi for half-power beamwidths of 110º or up to 6dBi depending on proper selection of a ground plane.
