SMSC LAN9210/9211 Ethernet Controllers
SMSC's LAN9210/9211 single-chip Ethernet Controllers maximize the performance level of 16-bit applications through an integrated Ethernet MAC/PHY with high-performance SRAM-like slave interface. The devices include a host bus interface that provides a glueless connection to most 16-bit microprocessors and microcontrollers and 32-bit microprocessors with a 16-bit external bus. The controllers are fully IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T and 802.3u 100BASE-TX compliant and support HP Auto-MDIX. The product is ideal for a variety of embedded applications, including high-definition TVs, digital video recorders, and high-end audio distribution systems.
SMSC LAN8700 Ethernet Transceivers
SMSC's LAN8700 Ethernet Transceivers provide HP Auto-MDIX support for high-performance Ethernet applications. The devices use flexPWR™ technology to provide a flexible power management architecture that can be configured to optimize total system power for high performance and low power consumption. The devices can be configured to operate on a single 3.3V supply using an integrated 3.3V to 1.8V linear regulator or using an external 1.8V supply and disabling the linear regulator. The product is compliant with IEEE 802.3-2005 standards and features industry-best ESD performance.
