Skyworks AAT2215 SwitchReg™ Step-Up Regulator is a high current device with a programmable peak NMOS current limit. This Skyworks synchronous step-up regulator is ideal for preventing the input current from overloading the system power in PC Card GSM/GPRS/3G and WiMax modem card applications. The internal compensation of AAT2215 is optimized for the large bulk tantalum output capacitors needed to support the output voltage during large load pulses. The output voltage may be programmed from 3.0V to 5.5V by external resistor divider. Light load switching frequency modulation and low quiescent current maintain high efficiency performance for light load mode conditions.
Skyworks SKY671xx pHEMT Low-Noise Amplifiers are GaAs, pHEMT Low-Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) with an active bias and high linearity performance. The advanced GaAs pHEMT enhancement mode process provides excellent return loss, low noise, and high linearity performance. The internal active bias circuitry provides stable performance over temperature and process variation. The device offers the ability to externally adjust supply current and gain. Supply voltage is applied to the RFOUT/VDD pin through an RF choke inductor.
Skyworks Dual Fractional-N Frequency Synthesizer provides direct digital modulation, ultra-fine frequency resolution, fast switching speed, and low phase-noise performance. Skyworks Dual Fractional-N Frequency Synthesizer is a key building block for high performance radio system designs that require low power and fine step size. The ultra-fine step size of less than 100 Hz allows this synthesizer to be used in very narrowband wireless applications. With proper temperature sensing or through control channels, the synthesizer’s fine step size can compensate for crystal oscillator or Intermediate Frequency (IF) filter drift. As a result, crystal oscillators or crystals can replace temperature-compensated or ovenized crystal oscillators, reducing parts count and associated component cost. The device’s fine step size can also be used for Doppler shift corrections.
Skyworks SE2595L Wireless LAN Front-End is a complete 802.11n WLAN RF front-end module providing all the functionality of the power amplifiers, LNA, power detector, T/R switch, diplexers and associated matching. The SE2595L provides a complete 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MIMO) RF solution from the output of the transceiver to the antennas in a compact form factor. The receive path is designed to maximize performance by providing both a low noise amplifier as well as a bypass state, for use when high power signals are being received.
Skyworks SE2527L 2.4GHz Power Amplifier is designed for use in the 2.4 GHz ISM band for wireless LAN applications. The device incorporates a power detector for closed loop monitoring of the output power. Skyworks SE2527L Power Amplifier also offers a high power mode by operating at 5V. This provides an extra 2dB of improved EVM performance. SE2527L temperature compensated power detector is highly immune to mismatch at its output with less than 1.5dB of variation with a 2:1 mismatch. SE2527L includes a digital enable control for device on/off control. This device is pin for pin compatible to Skyworks SE2524L, allowing both devices to share the same application board with only a few component changes required.
Skyworks SKY65016-70LF and SKY65162-70LF are high-performance amplifiers. Skyworks SKY65016-70LF general purpose, broadband amplifier features 50Ω input and output impedance, allowing it to be easily cascaded without external impedance matching networks. The typical –3dB bandwidth of the SKY65016-70LF is 0.1 to 3.0GHz. The device is packaged in a miniature SOT-89 package. Skyworks SKY65162-70LF high performance, ultra-wideband Power Amplifier (PA) with superior output power, low noise, high linearity, and high efficiency provides excellent linearity with a 1dB Output Compression Point (OP1dB) of +29.5dBm at 1960MHz. SKY65162-70LF is ideal for use in the driver stage of infrastructure transmit chains. The SKY65162-70LF is an SMT device in a 4-pin, 2.4x4.5mm SOT-89 package.
Skyworks SKY65337-11 and SKY65346-11 are high-performance transmit/receive front-end modules (FEMs). Skyworks SKY65337-11 is a high-efficiency FEM for ZigBee and other 2.4 GHz ISM band applications. The small 8 x 8 mm multi-chip module (MCM) contains a 2400-2500 MHz high-efficiency transmit path and a low-loss bidirectional path. The bidirectional path can be used to directly connect the antenna port to a directional RF port. SKY65346-11 high-performance FEM is ideally suited for use in 900MHz SM applications. A double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) switch allows the device to select between two antenna ports for the transmit or receive path. A single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch selects which signal path is routed to the transceiver port. The receive path has a Low-Noise Amplifier bypass switch.
Skyworks SKY12207-478LF, SKY12208-306LF, and SKY12210-478LF power handling 50W & 100W SPDT (single pole double throw) RF switches support a variety of applications, including TD-LTE infrastructure base stations, repeaters, and low frequency military/microwave UHF and UVF radios. These Skyworks SPDT solutions are high performance, cost competitive devices in a compact design. The 4 x 4 millimeter, 16-pin quad flat no lead packaged SKY12207-478LF (0.9-4.0GHz), SKY12208-306LF (0.02-2.7GHz), and SKY12210-478LF (0.9-4.0GHz) feature low insertion loss (0.4dB), high isolation (44 dB), excellent power handling (50 and 100 Watts), and superb linearity with low direct current (DC) power consumption. The devices operate with a 5V or 28V positive DC voltage supply across a broad frequency range (20MHz to 4.0GHz).
