Introducing the Newest Additions to the EZRadio® Family | The Silicon Labs EZRadio® family has expanded to target one-way wireless links with the Si4010 system-on-chip (SoC) crystal-less 8051 MCU RF transmitter, Si4012 RF transmitter, and the Si4311, Si4312, and Si4313 wireless receivers. The Si4010 and Si4012 transmitters and the new Si4311, Si4312, and Si4313 companion receivers are a fully optimized, one-way link solution that offers the lowest overall system cost and highest performance. The Silicon Labs Si4010 is the industry's first single chip remote control IC requiring only one external bypass capacitor, a PCB, battery, and an external casing with push buttons to form a complete remote control.
New EZLink Kits Make EZRadio Designs EasyThe Silicon Labs EZLink Development Kits for Si4431 / Si4432 EZRadio are schematically compatible to the full SDBC-DK3 software development environment and are designed so engineers can test their code in a small footprint design. |

The
Silicon Labs EZRadioPRO
family of
transmitters
,
receivers,
and
transceivers
delivers the industry’s highest performing short range
wireless solutions
at the
lowest overall system cost
.
EZRadioPRO
leverages the market expertise learned from the high-volume, award winning
EZRadio
® family to create a highly-differentiated
wireless
portfolio. The
Silicon Labs
EZRadioPRO
family is targeted at high-performance
wireless
applications with the industry’s best Rx sensitivity (–118 dBm) and highest output power (up to +20 dBm). The on-chip
antenna diversity algorithm
offers additional link performance improvements in multi-path and fade conditions. Built-in wake-up timer, low battery detector, temperature sensor, general purpose ADC, Tx/Rx FIFOs, power-on-reset (POR) and GPIOs remove external components and reduce the system MCU complexity. Continuous frequency coverage from 240-960MHz allows the device to support licensed-band operation and non-standard frequency plans.
