SEGGER J-Link Needle Adapter is designed to connect J-Link to a PCB which does not come with a mating connector or programming header. The designed pattern with 3 locating pins ensures that the adapter can only be connected in one way. SEGGER J-Link Needle Adapter allows manufacturers to save costs and space on PCBs since there is no need to provide the PCB with additional connectors. It adapts from the 20-pin 0.1" JTAG to a 10-pin needle connector, and is compatible to J-Link, J-Link Pro, J-Link Ultra, J-Link EDU, Flasher ARM, Flasher RX, and Flasher PPC.
SEGGER J-Link Ultra is a JTAG/SWD emulator designed for ARM Cortex and other supported CPUs. SEGGER J-Link Ultra is fully compatible to the standard J-Link and works with the same PC software. Based on the highly optimized and proven J-Link, it offers even higher speed as well as target power measurement capabilities due to the faster CPU, built-in FPGA, and high speed USB interface. It connects via USB to a PC running Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. J-Link Ultra has a built-in 20-pin JTAG/SWD connector.
SEGGER J-Trace for Cortex-M3 is a JTAG/SWD emulator designed for Cortex-M3 cores which includes trace (ETM) support. SEGGER J-Trace for Cortex-M3 can also be used as a J-Link and it also supports ARM7/9 cores. Tracing on ARM7/9 targets is not supported.
SEGGER Flasher ARM is a programming tool for microcontrollers with on-chip or external Flash memory and ARM core. SEGGER Flasher ARM is designed for programming flash targets with the J-Flash software or stand-alone, and also has all of the J-Link functionality. Flasher ARM connects via USB or via RS232 interface to a PC, running Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, or Windows Vista. Flasher ARM has a built-in 20-pin JTAG connector, which is compatible with the standard 20-pin connector defined by ARM.
SEGGER J-Link and J-Link EDU are USB-powered JTAG emulators designed for ARM cores. Based on a 32-bit RISC CPU, they can communicate at high speed with a large number of supported target CPU cores. SEGGER J-Link connects via USB to a PC running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later. It has a built-in 20-pin JTAG connector, which is compatible with the standard 20-pin connector defined by ARM. SEGGER J-Link EDU is designed for educational purposes and is natively supported by IAR EWARM, KEIL µVision, Rowley Crossworks, and CodeSourcery G++. Via GDB-Server, the supported tool-chains also include Atollic TrueStudio, Yagarto, and other GDB based or compatible development environments.
