The NXP Semiconductors LPC17xx MCU is also the industry's fastest Cortex-M3 processor and includes other high-performance features such as a nested vectored interrupt controller for fast deterministic interrupts, a wakeup interrupt controller that allows automatic wake from any priority interrupt, a memory protection unit, and four reduced power modes: Sleep, Deep-Sleep, Power-Down, and Deep Power-Down.
