Kionix KXSS5 Digital Accelerometers
Kionix KXSS5 Series Tri-Axis Digital Accelerometers are designed to provide a high signal-to-noise ratio with excellent performance over temperature. The KXSS5 Series Digital Accelerometer sensors can accept supply voltages between 1.8V and 5.25V. Sensitivity on the Kionix KXSS5 Series Digital Accelerometers are factory programmable, allowing customization for applications requiring from ±2.5g to ±8g ranges. Sensor bandwidth is user-definable. Interrupts on the KXSS5 Series Digital Accelerometers can be generated for acceleration on any axis above a threshold value (Motion Interrupt) or for acceleration on all three axes below a threshold value (Free-fall Interrupt). Applications include hard disk drives, laptops, cell phones, PDAs, game controllers, computer peripherals, cameras, video equipment, personal navigation devices, pedometers and sports diagnostic equipment. Evaluation kits for the KXSS5 Series of Digital Accelerometers are available.
