Texas Instruments Analog to Digital Converter: ADS855x
Texas Instruments ADS855x Analog to Digital Converters include six low-power 16-, 14-, and 12-bit SAR ADCs with true bipolar inputs. Each channel of the TI ADS8556, ADS8557, and ADS8558 contains a sample-and-hold circuit that allows simultaneous high-speed multi-channel signal acquisition. These TI ADCs
support data rates of up to 730kSPS in parallel interface mode or up to
500kSPS if the serial interface is used. The bus width of the parallel
interface can be set to 8 or 16 bits. The ADS8556, ADS8557, and ADS8558 are specified over the full industrial temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC and are available in an LQFP-64 package. This TI ADC
family is ideal for use in power quality measurement, protection
relays, multi-axis motor control, programmable logic controllers, and
industrial data acquisition.
