The STMicroelectronics SPDCPOE03 Power over Ethernet (PoE) 10W module and the SPDCPOE05 PoE 10W module are designed to provide an isolated, low-voltage power source to a remote PD in PoE applications. The STMicroelectronics SPDCPOE03 and SPDCPOE05 have fully functional compliance with IEEE802.3af and can extract power from Ethernet cable when sourced by PSE also conforming to IEEE802.3af. These STMicroelectronics PoE modules incorporate a fully integrated DC-DC converter and internal input diode bridges to support both data line and spare line pair standard ethernet connections.
