The Phoenix Contact SMCS Managed Ethernet Switches provide 10/100 Mbps connectivity with these two Fast Ethernet variants. The new SMCS line extensions feature an integrated web server enabling easy access to switch functionalities and settings, SNMP support for switch diagnostics and configuration, and an available memory plug option to enable saving switch configuration, Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP) Ring Manager, ATEX Zone 2 certification, and many other features. The Phoenix Contact SMCS Managed Ethernet Switches operate equally well within Profinet and EtherNet/IP installations, as well as standard Ethernet applications. The glass fiber model, with its two Gigabit fiber interfaces, opens the network possibility of Gig fiber uplink/ring capability with Fast Ethernet downstream operation.
