The Bourns TBU-PK High Speed Protectors are low capacitance, dual bidirectional high speed circuit protection devices. Using MOSFET semiconductor technology, the PK Series is designed to protect against short circuits, AC power cross, induction, lightning surges, overcurrent, and overvoltage faults up to rated limits. In addition, the Bourns TBU-PK Series of High Speed Protectors feature voltage monitoring on the two lines. If the voltage on the line drops below Vss, then the voltage will trigger the device to switch off. When placed in the system circuit, the protectors will monitor the current with the MOSFET detection circuit triggering to provide an effective barrier for SLIC, cable, DSL, MDU/MTU modems, ONT, voice and DSL line cards.
