Schmartboard Raspberry Pi Surface Mount Prototyping Board

The Schmartboard Raspberry Pi Surface Mount Prototyping Board is the perfect way to add through hole components to a Raspberry Pi project. Schmartboard's signature offset through hole grid expands part placement options. An extra set of holes allows easy access to the GPIO header. Rows of power and ground traces make for easy, flexible power and circuit grounding. Pre-routed traces minimize the use of wire jumpers. Circuits for 4 level shifters allow additional devices regardless of signal values. Lastly, a marked area shows where the USB and Ethernet Connectors are located in order to avoid conflicts.

Schmartboard Jumper Hacker Kits

Schmartboard Jumper Hacker Kits can be used to immediately modify jumpers to the functionality needed. For example, they can be used to change a female jumper into a male jumper, connect female jumpers together to create longer jumpers, color code jumpers to different signals, or splice bare wires together. Kit includes 42 pieces of 1 inch heat shrink tubes in a variety of colors, and a row of extra long headers.

SchmartBoard MSP430F517x Development SchmartModules

SchmartBoard MSP430F5171 / MSP430F5172 Development SchmartModules are easy-to-use platforms featuring MSP430F517x microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. The 4th generation TI MSP430 MCUs include a 25MHz core, a 10-bit analog-to-digital converter, a 32-bit hardware multiplier, and a precision Timer D PWM capable of 4ns resolution. These SchmartBoard development modules are ideal for building servo, control, or other PWM applications.

Schmartboard Jumpers

Schmartboard jumpers are for connecting Schmartboards with breadboards, and can be daisy chained together for longer lengths. They are available in 7, 9 and 12 inch Male to Female jumpers in quantities of 10 or 100 with or without 40 headers included. Packs of assorted 5, 7, 9, and 12 inch male to female jumpers are available in quantities of 5, 15, or 25.

SchmartBoard Through Hole USB Mini B Connector Breadboard

SchmartBoard Through Hole USB Mini B Connector Breadboard is designed for adding USB capability to Schmartboard|ez projects. This protoboard offers a 0.5" x 2" grid with a USB Mini B connection. The board has a through hole mounting style, and 4 ground holes are connected to a copper plane on the bottom side.

Schmartboard Prototyping Shield for Arduino

Schmartboard has made surface mount components available to Arduino users with the latest versions of their Prototyping Shield for Arduino. These boards utilize Schmartboard's "EZ" soldering technology to assure fast, easy and flawless soldering. Each board features SOT-23-6 footprint for prototyping, on-board reset button for the Arduino IC, additional push-button switch circuit, 5V/GND and 3.3V/GND rail for easy connection, two general purpose LEDs, optional Pull-up resistors footprints (Through-Hole or SMD) for I2C, spare 0805 footprint x3, and surface mount bypass footprints available on the bottom side. The same prototyping boards are also available without components.

Schmartboard Cable Harnesses

Schmartboard has expanded their offering of prototyping products to include three-prong female-to-female Cable Harnesses. Perfect for jumping power, ground and signal, the Cable Harnesses from Schmartboard are available in two versions: one with six 12" cables, and one with fifteen 12" cables.

Schmartboard has expanded its offering of SMT to DIP Adapters. The new product is a 1.27mm pitch SOIC to DIP adapter.

The SchmartBoard SOIC to DIP Adapter has the patented Schmartboard | ez technology, allowing for easy hand-soldering of surface mount components. Included with the package are 0.5mm pitch SOIC to DIP Adapter boards for 10 leads and 28 leads, as well as a row of headers for breadboard use.

Schmartboard Texas Instruments Development Schmartmodules

The Texas Instruments Development Schmartmodule, designed by SchmartBoard, supports most QFP, 48 and 64 pin TI microcontrollers in the MSP430, C2000, and Stellaris Cortex M3 product lines. The Texas Instruments Development Schmartmodule is fully populated except for the TI MCU, which designers can hand solder using SchmartBoard's "EZ" technology. Low cost and flexibility make the Schmartmodule the preferred choice in its class.

SchmartBoard SMT Connector Boards

SchmartBoard SMT Connector Boards are designed for prototyping with surface mount technology (SMT) connectors. The SMT Connector Boards support SMT connectors from companies such as Hirose, Molex, and Tyco and pitches of .4mm, .5mm, .8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.27mm. SchmartBoard|ez technology was designed into the boards to solve issues associated with hand soldering surface mount components.

SchmartBoard 8-Bit PIC® Microcontroller Development SchmartModule A

The SchmartBoard 8-bit PIC® Microcontroller Development SchmartModule supports more than 100 different 8-bit Microchip Technology MCUs in an SOIC form factor. This highly flexible, low-cost SchmartBoard development board is fully populated except for the PIC MCU. Designers only need to hand solder the PIC using SchmartBoard´s "EZ" technology, configure the jumpers for the PIC part number, and start programming. The PIC Microcontroller SchmartModule is a 2" x 2.5" board with an onboard 5V power regulator and reset button that also supports optional external clock options and ICSP and RJ11 interfaces for programming. This SchmartBoard development board supports 8-bit PICs in 8, 14, 1, 20, and 28-pin SOIC packages.

SchmartBoard Prototyping Boards

Hand solder surface mount components easily, quickly, and flawlessly on SchmartBoard's prototyping boards. Three new prototyping boards support larger, more complicated components. Available in .8mm pitch with 120-144 pins, .65mm pitch with 112-160 pins, and .5mm pitch with 128-240 pins.
