Ramtron FM6124 F-RAM Event Data Recorder
The Ramtron FM6124 is the industry's first F-RAM-based Event Data Recorder (EDR). The Ramtron FM6124 EDR continuously monitors state changes, stores them in the F-RAM, and alerts the system to changes. This Ramtron Event Data Recorder features simple device settings and data retrieval for easy system integration and a shorter design-in cycle. The FM6124 EDR features 12 digital inputs that can be individually configured to trigger event recording on either a rising or falling edge. This F-RAM Event Data Recorder features 32 Kbytes of F-RAM memory that can be used to store event records and up to 24 Kbytes of F-RAM can be configured to store event/user data. The FM6124 EDR also includes an on-chip RTC with calendar that provides a timestamp for each event recorded and can also be used as system clock and calendar.
Ramtron Dual / Quad F-RAM State Saver
The Ramtron Dual / Quad F-RAM State Saver is a novel device that saves the state of signals on demand and restores them to the correct state automatically upon power up. F-RAM technology supplies the Ramtron Dual / Quad State Saver with fast write time and virtually unlimited write endurance. The Ramtron State Saver provides continuous access to nonvolatile system settings without performing a memory read operation, enable storage of signals that may change frequently and without notice, and allow the nonvolatile storage of a system setting without the system of a serial memory. These Dual / Quad F-RAM State Savers restore the state of switches, relays, and LEDs on power up.
Ramtron V-Family Low-Power FRAM
The Ramtron V-Family of low-power FRAM devices features high-performance nonvolatile memory employing an advanced ferroelectric process. The Ramtron serial FRAM performs write operations at bus speed, incurs no write delays, and is ideal for nonvolatile memory applications requiring frequent or rapid writes or low power operation. The V-Family parallel FRAM provides data retention for over 10 years while eliminating the reliability concerns, functional disadvantages, and system design complexities of battery-backed SRAM.
